Mission & Values

Our Mission

The Orangeburg Fire Department is committed to provide fire and rescue service to our neighbors who live, work, or travel though our district. We firmly believe that the achievement of these goals is based on continuous training, teamwork, and the spirit of being a volunteer.

Values

We strive to maintain a safe environment not only for our neighbors but also for one another.

We recruit new members not only based on their experience, but on where their potential may take them.

We continue to improve the quality of service through quality improvement in the areas of firefighting, rescue, and emergency management.

We provide training, equipment, and physical health to our greatest resource, our firefighters.
