Thank you to our Assemblyman Lawler - always supporting the volunteers and our community.

Earlier today, Mike was joined by dozens of volunteer firefighters, EMS and EMT personnel, and members of law enforcement to announce a series of bills designed to support those who protect and serve our communities.

The first bill, A.8892, would provide Rockland County volunteer firefighters with a 10% real property tax exemption.

The second bill, A.8938, would create a $250 million annual training fund to ensure that our firefighters, volunteer ambulance corps members, law enforcement, and other first responders receive the best training in the country.

Additionally, Mike’s office will be introducing a 10% real property tax exemption for Rockland County residents that volunteer as EMS or EMT personnel.
