| Chris Feroldi is moving to Florida and Monday was his last training night at the firehouse. The volunteers gathered friends of Chris and enjoyed a last meal with him and his beautiful wife Bolivia.
Chris served the residents of Blauvelt for 19 years as a volunteer firefighter. When he moved to Orangeburg, Chris did an additional 22 years serving the residents of Orangeburg as a member of the Orangeburg Volunteer Fire Department. 41 years total serving as a volunteer firefighter.
Chris retired from the Town having worked 37 years mostly in our Highway Department. Eight years in a row where Chris did not miss one day of work!!
Chris worked the last several years in the Orangeburg Stop n Shop greeting many friends in the dairy aisle.
Representing the town, Carmel Reilly presented Chris with a beautiful proclamation naming his many milestones in serving the residents of this great town.
Chris will be missed but we hope him and Bolivia nothing but happiness, peace and quiet.
